 The trail is an easy out and back crushed granite/dirt trail with a few go
 od views of the lake. The trail is nice and wide with partial shade\, and 
 good parking is available at the trailhead. You occasionally pass some res
 idential and commercial buildings on the south side of the trail but nothi
 ng overly distracting. Being located next to an extensive paved trail syst
 em and a nice park with good picnic facilities\, this hike can be extended
