April Explorers Club - North Shore Rockledge Park

Join Pack 807 for our April Explorers Club adventure! This month we’re heading to one of the most scenic trails in all of DFW — Northshore Trail in Grapevine — for an afternoon of hiking, nature, and fun!

Event Details:

• Date: Sunday, April 27
• Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (depending on trail option)
• Location: North Shore Trailhead – Rockledge Park Google Maps
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Miles/Duration: Choose your adventure!
  • 4 miles (~2.5 hrs)
  • 8 miles (~4 hrs)

Overview:

Northshore Trail is widely considered one of the most beautiful trails in the DFW area. We’ll be starting at the Rockledge Park entrance, which offers breathtaking lake views and is generally less crowded with mountain bikers. There’s a $10 entrance fee per vehicle (cash or card accepted at the gate).

We’ll offer two out-and-back options so families can choose the distance that works best for them.

• Hat and sunscreen
• Comfortable hiking shoes
• $10 for parking (per vehicle)
