Cub-O Orienteering Competition

Join us for the 25th anniversary of Cub-O, North America’s biggest orienteering event! Since 1998, nearly 35,000 participants have explored, competed, and had a blast. Whether you’re tackling the challenges head-on or enjoying a leisurely hike, Cub-O is a fantastic way to teach map reading, problem-solving, and strategy.

Event Details:

• Date & Time: Friday - Sunday, January 2-4, 2026
• Location: Sid Richardson Scout Ranch (approx. 1.5 hours west of Frisco)
• Who Can Attend: All youth and adults — everyone gets a contest map and a chance at awards in their age group

Highlights:

• Fun and challenging orienteering course
• Teaches map reading, problem-solving, and strategy
• Optional meal tickets and event T-shirts available
• First 600 participants receive an event patch
• Camping is available as part of the larger event — Pack 807 will share plans if we decide to camp as a group
