Fall Family Campout

The annual Fall Family Campout is an important part of Pack 807's year-round program. Scouts enjoy the outdoors in a family-centered environment while practicing teamwork, leadership, outdoor skills, and Leave No Trace principles.

The destination and program can change each year. Check the Pack 807 events calendar for current dates, location, registration, costs, meals, campsite instructions, and weather updates.

Attend at Your Family's Comfort Level

The current event listing will explain the available options. Depending on the destination, families may be able to:

• Attend as Saturday day campers
• Camp Saturday night
• Camp both Friday and Saturday nights

All Pack 807 families are welcome, including Scouts, siblings, parents, and other family members when permitted by the event registration.

Preparing for Camp

• Complete every registration step listed in the current event.
• Bring current Annual Health and Medical Record forms for everyone attending when required.
• Review the Pack 807 Camping Gear checklist.
• Plan meals, snacks, and drinking water around the instructions in the event listing.
• Bring reusable water bottles, flashlights, camp chairs, sun protection, rain gear, and weather-appropriate clothing.

Uniform

The yellow Pack 807 activity shirt is the normal campout uniform. Some campfire programs, ceremonies, or services may call for the blue Cub Scout uniform. Follow the current event listing for exact guidance.

Camp Safety and Courtesy

• Scouts should enter only their own tents.
• Scouts may sleep in a tent with adults from their own family, following current Scouting America policies.
• No adult should ever be alone with a Scout who is not their child.
• Scouts should stay with the group and follow leader instructions around fires, cooking areas, trails, and activity stations.
• Do not throw anything into a fire unless an adult leader directs the activity.
• Leave the campsite cleaner than we found it and pack out all trash.
• Guns, tobacco products, alcohol, and fireworks are prohibited.
• Personal electronics should be limited to communication, safety, or necessary family use.

Pack 807 campouts depend on family volunteers. Parents should expect to help supervise Scouts, prepare meals, tend shared areas, and complete campsite cleanup.
