Pack 807 is heading to Waco for a Texas history weekend with museums, a hotel overnight, and Waco Surf.

Event Overview
- Date: Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, June 14
- Location: Waco, TX
- Travel: Families provide their own transportation and should arrive by 9:00 AM Saturday.
- Hotel: Aloft by Marriott Waco Downtown, 900 S 11th St, Waco, TX 76706. Book the night of Saturday, June 13 and confirm current pricing before booking.
- Shorter option: Families who need a shorter trip may leave Saturday evening after the museum activities, dinner, and pool time.
Planned Activities
- Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum
- Waco Mammoth National Monument
- Dr Pepper Museum, with optional Make-A-Soda booked separately by families
- Saturday evening pizza dinner, dessert, pool time, and games at the hotel
- Waco Surf water park on Sunday for the Wedge water slides and lazy river
Cost Notes
Pack 807 will collect payment later for the museum tickets and Saturday dinner. Please do not Venmo payment until the Pack contacts you with your total. Families pay separately for the hotel, Saturday lunch, and Waco Surf water park passes.
- Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum: Scouts and children age 7+ are $3; children under 6 are free; adults are $7.50.
- Waco Mammoth National Monument: Ages 4+ are $4; ages 3 and under are free.
- Dr Pepper Museum: Ages 5+ are $12; ages 4 and under are free.
- Saturday dinner: Water, soda, pizza, and dessert are $12 per person.
Uniform and Gear
- Yellow Pack 807 activity shirt for group portions of the trip
- Swim attire, towels, and sunscreen for Waco Surf
- Scouts should plan to wear life jackets in the lazy river and water slide areas
